He was present when Serra's Mother couldn't stop the detainment and arrest of Serra, her daughter.
Later on during the Baptism Ritual ceremony, he was trying to arrest Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi, but in her fit of refusal, he shoots and accidentally kills Empress Sophia Ikaruga Misurugi. Afterwards Angelise is detained and taken to Arzenal. (CROSS ANGE: "Fallen Princess")
